Cresswell is not the finished article by a long way but he is on the right track. He has a lot to learn and just look at him last year. He isn't the only one that is out of form at the moment. Let the kid play and he will turn it round. Fucking stupid thread.

Anyone who was at Stoke away last November will have seen that he does have his limitations. He was awful that day too, though admittedly overall he had a good season last year.

Looks like someone who either thinks one good season makes a summer, or his head isn't right at the minute. Something is missing with him so far this season that's for certain.
Didn't help he had absolutely no out ball in the 1st half on Saturday wide to us having zero width. But those basic mistakes were unforgivable.
You'd bollock a kid for letting the ball run out like that or playing a blind pass in your own area.
He manned up and apologised on Twitter. At least a step in the right direction.

The formation/tactical set up is putting too much pressure on the defenders.
The full backs because they are isolated, and the centre backs because they are being pulled around (and) wider than they would like in order to help out the full backs.

For the record, I think Reid has been just as shit as Cresswell; shall we dig him out as well?
Fact is, Reid, Ogbonna and Cresswell were all excellent away at Arsenal. The next 2 games they've all been poor.
Instead of ridiculous comments like 'maybe his agent is trying to unsettle him; he doesn't seem to concentrate as much as usual' perhaps its merely a case that the management are introducing a new style of football; one where the default isn't just to hammer it to the corner flag but to take half a second a look for a short pass. To some players this approach will come naturally and to other it will need to be worked upon. At first impression it hasn't come naturally to Jenkinson, Creswell or Reid, but over time they will begin to change and their performances will improve.
Knicker wetting after 2 bad games is frankly embarrassing.

Agreed Sven - you'd think that professional footballers in the top leagues in the world would at least be able to do the basics with their 'wrong' foot. What does that say about the coaching at junior level? Also, wouldn't you think that players would want to improve their own abilities, just in case they need to act quickly in a situation where the ball comes to them n their weaker foot and they will be able to deal with it? Noble's another one who can only pass to the right. Any pass to the left is made with the outside of his right foot. Pathetic.

The second goal was instinctive as he can hardly kick a ball with his right foot. Given professional players train from the age of 6 or 7 with clubs that is inexcusable.
Goal one and goal four were because both Cresswell & Jenkinson forgot the basics of defending. Any danger, kick the thing OUT.
